Halo HID Projector Lights Installed - Pics needed
I'm debating on upgrading my headlights to the 05-07 Superduty factory lights or going complete aftermarket with a Sypder (or similiar) Halo Project kit with HID lights.
Like these:
Sonar® Halo Projector Headlights 00 04 Ford Excursion Gen.2 Style
Problem is, I can't find any pics of these angel eye style of lights on the Excursion.
Can people post pics so we can compare against the 05+ Ford lights? Any feedback on there like or dislike compared to stock?

as with any aftermarket Halo style headlights its a hit and miss on the quality. i had the same setup on my 01 F150 Harley with 6k HIDs. it wasnt like the OEM quality where it was nice and crisp compared to like an AUDI style halo/projector. but it was good enough upgrade to the stock style lights. for $177 bucks shipped is a good deal. i say its a must if your upgrading your lights to HIDS.
as you see in this pic..there is still a bit of light scattering. but not as bad as having the stock headlights.

Those fake projector style were the worst lights I've ever owned. Almost embarrassed to admit I owned them. They had the worse beam pattern, and it was hard to keep them out of oncoming vehicles eyes. Too blinding. I didn't have them on there very long and ended up swapping them out with newer FORD factory lenses.
However, I also now run a retrofitted stock headlight (actually, these are Eagle Eyes - with a Hella HID projector retrofit). And boy... they work great. However, with the low beam cutoff... it's pretty frustrating as you can't read street signs. You've got to blip the high beam.
Here's what I'm referring to;
