I just replaced the HGs on my truck and put everything back together. The truck ran well before the HG issue besides puking coolant. It was really difficult to get my truck to start after the HG replacement. Once it did, it has been running rough and very low power. Put in a scan tool and got the codes: PO261 cylinder #1, PO270 Cylinder #4, and Injector Circuit Low P0000(pd) No diagnostic. I ran the truck for 45 mins to try and get the HPOP to get all the air out. Looking for ideas on what I should start trouble shooting. I did an STC upgrade kit when I had the engine apart.
What do you mean a few days? Should, I leave the truck running for a an hour or two on high idle? I can't really drive it this way. I finished it today, wondering about the codes. No smoke when its running so I am think a injector connection problem. I have a high idle on my truck and I let the truck run for 30-45 mins. And then drove it for 20 mins. Was afraid I might damage the engine if one of the injector's connector's was open.
Can the injector circuit low codes be thrown from a torn o-ring between the high pressure oil rail and the injector?
Also, what cylinders are #1 and #4? #1 is drivers side front of the engine and #4 cylinder is passenger side second cylinder back from the front. Is this correct?

Those are injector electrical codes that would indicate some kind of a wiring issue not contribution balance codes which would indicate a cylinder power problem. You have the cylinders just reversed. 1,3,5,7 are passenger side.
For codes: PO261 cylinder #1, PO270 Cylinder #4, and Injector Circuit Low.
I am getting home on Monday and here is my check list for things to check:
1. check connectors and pins on FICM
2. check injector #1 and #4 connector
3. check FICM
4. check ground wire for injector harness on intake manifold
5. check the injector harness for opens or grounds
If there is more things I should be looking at to troubleshoot these codes, please let me know.
Got home today and find my problem in about 20 minutes. Went to take the FICM off to see if there was a bent pin. As I was taking it off the rear harness plug was not in all the way. Put the connector in all the way, tested the FICM which had 47.6 volts. Put everything back together and the truck fired up with out any problems. Thanks everyone for your help! This was a huge project and so far the truck is running great.
