Nope, that is your PCV, plugged or unplugged it won't affect your boost at all. Your next best best is to start looking for cracks in the CAC tube couplers.

by the cac tube couplers, is that the tubes connected to the intercooler boots? what would be leaking out of them if there were cracks?

The air cleaner housing loves to rub a hole in the cac tub. Mine never even made any noise, had a hole the size of a button in it.

Yep and pressurized air (boost).
