WTH, No power HELP!!

I purchased this truck a little over a month ago from texas. Its an 03 f250 6.0l wit 122K miles on it. the truck ran fine when i first got it and i am now noticing this thing wont accelerate to save its life.. I cant even pass anyone because if i stomp it, it will not accelerate like it usually should. I know how the truck should run as i have an 06 6.0l too and this thing is accelerating slower than a snail. PLEASE HELP!! Is one of the injectors misfiring, could it be cooler?

First: get it code scanned. Is it worse cold or is this all the time? Check your fuel pressure. When did it last have an oil and fuel filter change?

After a top-end rebuild I just did on mine, I didn't have any power either and no codes. SO I ordered a 3 gauge pod with boost gauge and sure enough, I wasn't getting any boost so I took a quick looksie and found that the nipple leading to the MAP sensor was being pushed out of the intake manifold by the boost pressure. I got a new steel nipple and press fit it into the manifold and ran a new length of hose to the map sensor and now it's back to full power and good boost again. New nipple part was $18ish

Sounds good, the old one is a really crappy and cheap brass fitting. Look for a clogged MAP hose and/or cracks too.

Did u change just one fuel filter or both? It might just be a typo, but u wrote filter singular and I know a lot of folks overlook the one on the frame rail.

I doubt thats the case here since u own another but though i would ask.

ok so i went snooping around in the engine... and right under the giant tube running from the turbo the air filter with the map sensor on it i found about a two inch tube running to the motor.. it has a silver piece on the neck and bends at a ninety degree angle into the left side of the silver casing on the motor... i have a picture but dont no how to post it.. how do i post this thing so i can figure out what it is and where to get a new one..
