Bronco frame the same?
My friend has a brand new class 5 hitch for a bronco. Its our year body style. Is Our rear frame the same to a bronco? Trucks a 1997 F-250..And the bronco is all the same from 90-96 i believe.

I thoguht the Bronco frames were same as the F-150's, too, but the rear fuel tanks are a different shape like the frame is narrower or something. Otherwise I don't know why they would have a different tank size/shape back there.

I dont' know about width, but the bronco frame is shorter than f150 short box std cab.
Far as I know the rear width is the same though. lots of guys do the bronco tank mod, so I know its not wider.

it is narrower, just dont know by exactly how much. when i bolted my bronco tank in there is a good deal of room on each side. in the bronco its a tight fit. i am pretty sure hitches will not fit but dont quote me on that.
