7.3 intercooler swap

You will need some intercooler boots, one 3" and one 3.25". What else do you have done to the truck? Don't know that this mod will do anything for what you are trying to fix though.

I think you may have something else going on. A slightly larger intercooler shouldn't correct smoking.
As Clay stated, boots. You'll more than likely need a larger boot on the passenger side, possibly driver's side as well. I only needed a different PS boot. The bottom of the 6.0 cooler may hit your transmission cooler line fitting as well. I was able to sweet talk my fitting into scooting over enough to clear the cooler.
