My aftermarker boost gauge has a leak, it started as a kink in the line, which i tried to fix, but due to the small brass fitting being so small i cant get it to reset on the hose, i have everything put back to gether properly but with the brass fitting not sliding onto the hose all the way it leaks boost, and to make it more bothersome its right behind the gauge in the pillar, so when the music isnt on in my truck all i hear is an obnoxious hissing sound. I know how to fix it, im just wondering if there is a kit out with new fitting ect.
The gauge is an autometer
Thanls
Try a kit for a manual oil gauge install. It comes with a big coil of that plastic tubing. I'm always having to replace a section of mine under the hood. Once you use the little metal ferruls that slide down the tubing inside the fitting they are done. Cut it off and chunk it in the trash. IIRC you can get them at Lowes or maybe a plumbing store in bulk. I keep about 10 on hand.
ok thanks, do you have a picture of what it would look like, the one under the hood i've had to redo and i was able to reuse the little fitting, couldnt this time

The ferrule is never reusable once it compresses onto the tube. MY suggestion would be to use copper under the hood in the high heat and plastic in the cab. Easily joined together with a compression union. They are both available at an autoparts store. You can probably buy the ferrules at a plumbing/lowes/home depot separately.
