Just wondering if anyone has tried playing a movie from an iPhone through Sync onto the headrests / Nav screen (specifically the rear facing backseat screens)? Is this possible?!? Seems like it would be seriously handy! All of our little man's dvd's are on my iPhone or my brides...for those long trips.
Thanks!
That would be a sweet feature! I don't have the TV headrests but I have the iPhone 4, does that count for something lol. I can play music over bluetooth which is cool. The Wife's 2011 Volvo XC60 does not even do that.
bluetooth 2.0 (I'm pretty sure that 3.0 is not implemented in our trucks since it really isn't that prevalent in the wild) does not provide the bandwidth you would need to do this, so it is not possible for that reason. I am pretty sure that Sync does not allow playing video files from anything but a DVD, so it is not *allowed* for that reason. Sorry to disappoint.

Bummer. USB would support it...but sync has to accept it. Saw something on a Sync forum on this. I'll check it out and report back. Thanks!
