don't forget you can re-gear via tire sizes too.
since you have 3.55's play around with some tire sizes to see if you can live with shorter tires:

my example;
i have 3.55 gears.
stock tire size is 235/85/16
by swapping to 225/75/16 i now have an actual gear ratio of 3.84:1(very comparable to 3.73's,just a tad lower.)
a lot of guys don't like the look of shorter tires on their rigs,but it's something to consider if you haven't thought of this yet.
sure is the most cost effective way to get 'er done too.
however,watch the payload ratings as you go down (unless you have a dually,then its not much of a concern.)
