off subject but it cold
I live in florida and someone up north there left the door open. Its going to be like mid 30's here 2nite. Only up to 58 for the high 2mor. SHUT THE DOOR PEOPLE.

We are going to have our coldest week of the season this coming week.I hope the door is closed in Fl by Wednesday cause I will be flying to Zephyrhills Fl Wed morning.Can't wait to go fishing with my Dad.

I started this trend not to bit c h about the cold But to rub it in . LOL LOL When yall were kids you had to live were mom and dad whated to live. MOST of you all are grown know so its your on choice to live in the cold. Being from florida all my life I DON'T GET IT. LOL LOL LOL

when you are used to 118+ in summer 26 degrees in flipping cold for desert rats like me....fifty two f1,,,you have a nice truck,,,,dont ever treat that truck bad...a lot of folks spend years to have a nice truck like that,,,your lucky to have one like that,,,it dont matter if it was given to you or your rich,,,etc,it is a piece of american history and everyone respects that,sorry i went off subject

NUM NUTSFrom my perspective, Winter is a good thing!
1. Kills bugs - there are no fire ants or tree roaches in Ohio. After living down south several years, this alone makes winter a good thing to me.
2. My favorite seasons are spring and fall. To really have good ones you need winter.
3. Need winter to have apples trees and I love apples and all the apple festivals.
4. Some of my best memories growing up and later with my kids are from raking and playing in leaves and building snow men.
5. There are few things in life as peaceful as a morning after a freshly fallen snow.
I could go on, but you get the jest. Some people choose to live where it is cold for a reason, and even though it gets cold, my nuts aren't num.

Yeah, we're getting ready to see our coldest week here also, but it gives me a good reason to fire up the old ashley stove and hibernate in the garage. Something about a 75 degree garage on a chilly day that motivates me to get busy. I'd really like to be working on my truck, but with Xmas coming it's woodworking time making gifts. But it's all good.

That cold was through here a week ago, one night it was 14. So much for not needing a good heater in Albuquerque, huh?! I'd take a foot of snow right now, we haven't had any precip in 6 - 8 weeks, it's as dry as the proverbial popcorn fart.
