Nice to check in and let us know what happened.

It could always help someone out.

How did the harness go bad? Chaffing?

I had a P0206 code I believe it was cylinder 6 low circuit code. The truck ran fine so I let it go. On black friday it shut off completely I couldn't figure it out. So I sent it off to ford 2 weeks later they say my injector back shorted through the harness and took out 5 other injectors on top of the harness. Somehow it didn't take out the FICM though. Very weird first time I have EVER heard of that happening.

I think my alternator is starting to take a crap now as well. The voltage fluctuates according to engine rpm. Either that or the voltage regulator is gone but i believe that's inside the alternator on these..im not sure.

myvoltage will drop very breifly to 11.3-11.8 at startup with GP and stuff on

but if your stuggling to make 11.8 volts all the time or with a couple of acc on that alt is on its last leg

I just changed mine out to a DC Power Alternator and so far so good
check it out
