Went to change the little bulbs in the dash as my tach isn't illuminated anymore. I took off the cover to access the fuses and there just isn't enough room for me to stick my hand up there to change the lights with the steering column brases and such. How is everyone else changing these? Regards.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-16-03 AT 06:08 PM (EST)]Pull the cluster bezel (which requires you to pull the headlight & wiper ***** with a hook in the notch on the back of each ****) and then pull the cluster. If you have a mechanical (cable-driven) speedo, reach behind it from the top & push the white collar straight down, and it will release from the speedo head. Then you just twist the black bulb holders to remove them.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-17-03 AT 00:18 AM (EST)]another good tip: since your going to all the trouble to remove the cluster, make sure and change out all the bulbs. Murphy's law states: He who changes one bulb will live to replace the rest soon!
Just my opinion,
Jim
Oh and dont buy the expensive bulbs with the black holders, just buy the bulb and install into the black holders. I think they are #94, but not sure.
