Truck is leaking at the fitting on the driver side where it goes into the radiator/cooler. From what I can tell, it is not the line but the brass fitting that the line goes into. The leak appears to be between the brass fitting and the radiator/cooler.
If I remove the line to replace the seal behind the brass fitting, how much ATF should I expect to come out as I replace the seal? Also anyone have the torque spec for this part?
I don't want to be caught without a large enough pan and have the truck bleed all over the driveway while I frantically try to button it back up.
It's leaking between "the part on the radiator" and the radiator. The flare nut is fine and in tight with no leak. Anyone have a torque spec on this? I'd hate to strip the radiator threads.
Anybody have an idea how much fluid I should plan on coming out once I disconnect the line from the cooler? I'll be doing it in subzero weather and would like to avoid suprises!
Just had a leak from the tranny line on my EX. I replaced the rubber line and only a small amount of tranny fluid came out, a regular oil pan will be more than enough for ya.
As far as the radiator part I am not sure. Good luck!
