I hope that someone can help me with my problem! I have a '94 f-150 5.0 eng with the heavy duty(auto) trans with it. The truck and trans has 127,000 miles. The trans. shifts hard from 1st to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to 3rd. Also it shifts hard into reverse when in park or from drive. I remove the neg cable from the battery for about 10 minutes and it seems to do fine until i drive the truck at highway speed and the hard shifting starts again. What is the problem? Is the tourque converter going bad, or a chip. Please help.
