i'm lost, need help!
As i posted in here before, i bought a "302" from a classmate of mine and having my college put the motor in. ran into some part issues but got them settled but one issue. I'm trying to buy a distributor for the 302 so instead of buying the one for the '68 fairlane/torino from where the block came from, i got one for '78 f100 302. the distributor would not fit. the hole for the distributor is 38mm and the distributor is 41mm. what gives? is a '68 302 block different from a '78 302 block. will a distributor from a '68 car work with my truck and if not, what do i need to do to make it work? (block # c80e 6015a)
