Lift question

I curreently have a 4" lift on my 79 F350, I am only 5' 8" and my wife is smaller, very hard to put dirt bikes in the back of the truck,
anyway my question is,
my buddy has a 77 F250 with the stock lift, could I swap him front leaf springs for my 4" leafs? Would there be any problems with this swap

For the rear, all I would have to do is pull the 2" block, right?

I forgot to add that I have 35" tires, will there be any clearance issues?

Any thoughts.

Thanks

Dan

You wont be able to run the 35's without cutting your fenders and you can just swap springs

Is the '77 a High Boy or a Low Boy ? '77.5 was the change over. If the '77 is a High Boy, the springs won't let you down far enough to bother with.

Mark,

I guess I don't know the answer to that, if it is a high boy, are you saying that it won't make a difference?
How would I know if it is a highboy?

77 has a front frame cross member under front bumper and rear springs a 2 1/4 wide, 77.5 rear springs a 3" and there is a lot more differences....and ....

If you swap and do not want to trim fenders, drop down to 33's.
