HELP NEEDED ASAP!!!
Just make sure you are not close to the open hood when the engine is running.
Several hundred pounds of combustion pressure with the engine running, tip would be like a bullet.

Look at the injector tip, the hole under the injector is not much bigger than the glow plug hole.
Glow plug tips are inconnel, non magnetic or practically non magnetic.
PB Blaster or brake clean will disolve the carbon better than WD 40.
Good luck.
If it makes you feel better I have left several tips in 6.2's when I was in the service because I had no other choice. I have seen countless 6.2's and 6.5's with ding marks on the pistons and the head from glow plug tips when I was doing head gaskets on them when I was at the dealer I worked at. I have yet to see one really hurt from it. CAN it hurt it bad. Sure. What will hurt it is if it gets in a valve but there is no way by any means a guarantee that it will be hurt at all. When I am doing work for somebody in my shop a wouldn't leave it but my own I would take my chances just because I have seen it so many times over the years....Try the silicone. It works like glue. Handy ,also, for putting in a socket to hold a bolt for in a spot you can't get your hand.
