Good morning Nevada. I hear you about the change in the way casinos were run back in the day. Damn, I must be getting old when I can say "I remember back in the day."

Happy Monday morning to you all!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Santa brought you all what you wanted.

Jeff - I hear ya and I'm sorry to hear that has happened. I work for a city and unfortunately we got major cuts to us recently. I have to take 10 days off w/no pay (furlough days) that are manditory over the next 6 months. My pay was also cut 4.25%. That is a HUGE hit for me since I was at the bottom of the totem pole with the city. That also freezes all of my COL (Cost of Living) raises and step raises. So, ultimately, I'm probably going to make less than when I first started.

It's just messed up how things come down the pipe here. Not saying that no one else is cutting back or anything of the sort, but it's really hard on the lower employees when it happens. So, I do feel for ya and I hope things get better for you and your family. :-)

Everything will work out in time. All we can do is buck up and roll with the punches. One of the supervisors has come up with a proposed schedule that would be a win-win for everyone and keep us under budget without cutting too many hours that he is going to submit for approval. I am keeping my fingers crossed but not holding my breath

My prayers go out to all who are going through rough times in this economy.

Jeff, I start to talk about something these days I then I stop & say crap that was 30 or 40 years ago. But in my mind it was just yesterday.

Good morning everyone. Things are going well so far. I finally found a '95 truck in the wrecking yard with the clutch pedal assembly that I needed. Thank you to those that were looking for one for me.

Mornin' all. Well, it's definitely a brisk one out there today. The wife and I are heading up to Zion this weekend for New Years. I think the high is supposed to be 27 or something like that. And I thought I got out of this stuff when I left Michigan. LOL

But we should get some awesome images because its supposed to snow their last night or today. Hopefully it'll still be on the mountains when we get there to take pics.
