I went out to drive the Ex and the key wont turn in the ignition. I drive the car everyday and drove it earlier today. Any thoughts?

try pulling the steering wheel one way or the other. Sounds like the wheel has the pin in the column pressure on it. Just giggle the wheel while turning the key. i do it all the time when I park with the wheel turned toward the curb .

 

See if the wheel is up tight against the lock. Turn the wheel a little off of the stop and you should be able to turn the ignigition, or are you sure it's the right key or maybe it's someonelses ex in your driveway.

 

Yeah give that wheel a tug left or right while trying to cycle the key. Mine does it every so often too.

 

That happends everynow and then the above suggestions work. If not then "houston we have a problem"

 

If the above ideas don't work your key or tumblers might be worn out. Try another key and then get some advice from your local locksmith.
