I about spit up my coffee seeing that. Not that it isn't fixable, but as Bob pointed out, it'll need work. My bed is pretty bad, and will need a complete re-do, but the materials shouldn't add up to much more than $400. Plus you'd have to ship it.
EDIT: I should mention that these beds don't grow on trees, but they aren't '32 Ford coupes either. $200 seems a generous offer.
yep, I agree, price is way to high, maybe ok if it was a shorter bed and included all of the stakesides and hardware etc.
I doubt it will sell also, but at least if someone in the area was looking for one they could keep an eye on it, his price will come down eventually.
I agree, it won't sell but if I was interested I'd shoot him an email with an offer to see if a deal could be made or at least to get his email address. If not, wait a week or two and send another email. Just make sure you offer more than scrap price. If the seller isn't a total jerk I'd bet you could eventually get it for around $100. I bought a complete bed with all the hardware, wood was rotted but all the metal was in very good condition and was missing one very minor piece of hardware, for $200.
