Are you able to remove the radiator yourself? It's not that bad of a job. I find that if you have another person pull it out it's a lot easier. Doing the removal and install will take the majority of the repair cost away.

Did you take the radiator to a radiator shop or just a regular repair shop? $360 for a radiator repair seems steep to me.

I'm not sure about upgrades for radiators for our trucks. I've heard of 4 rows being out there though. Is your truck running hot? The cooling system for this engines are excellent to say the least.

It came with a 4 row radiator ya know. I'd go back and complain that they put the wrong one in it if they don't warranty it. This made in china and mexico crap really gets on my nerves. And I just paid a whole lot less for a new radiator than that. Then I found an even better source that has the correct ones. YOu have to stay out of garages with a diesel truck if you want to eat. They will rape you coming and going.

If it's just the solder joint that is leaking then it can be fixed but I'd be willing to bet it's leaking because you either have bad front body bushings or the two rubber bushings on the sides of the radiator weren't pushed in all the way. If they forced it down to get the bolts lined up then something is going to give eventually.

http://www.radiatorexpress.com/AboutQuality.asp This is the link for the ONE SOURCE, that actually has the correct 4 row radiator for it. They also have a plastic tanked and an all aluminum one but I have always had the best luck sticking with copper. Maybe yours was soldered by some Chinese political prisoner that had a gun to the back of his head to speed up production. Seriously.
