Yeah, they had it done at the dealer. I got a stack of invoices, all from the dealership a little north of here. They bought it there and took it there for everything except tires.

Hey, that's an idea. Just like a spare tire, you have a spare vehicle should you run out of gas or something goes wrong

I too am looking at purchasing an Excursion. Found a '04 Limited 4x4 with 63,000 mi for $22,000, however the catch is the 6 liter engine. There is one owner, most of the miles are highway and he has the receipt for everything that he had done to it since he purchased. This is just an extra vehicle for him at this point and is just looking to off load it. Everything about the rig is what I have been looking for since about '08. I've been looking all around about the 6 liter engine and basically you either get a great one or a piece of junk, there is no middle ground. Any thoughts or suggestions on what I should be looking for and any other comments would be nice.

Only the 6.0 in 2004 was a good/bad engine on luck of the draw, Ford made major changes for 05 and problems pretty much went away, thats why it stayed a dependable engine and is even being offered now in the F150 for 2011.
Consider a 2005 Eddie Bauer 4X4 6.0 105,000 miles for mid 20's

I have replaced the 2000 with the 2004 Diesel Excursion but start looking online more in AutoTrader. I was about to buy one down south until I found this one here in Canada a few hours drive north of me. I just really didnt want to drive my Land Rover down to the States Buy a new Ex south, get a trailer, drop the Rover on the back and haul *** back to Canada cause over here there so much more money cause we cant get good clean ones here.

I just got lucky with mine, the new one is a single owner who Ironically Bought his from FL new in 2004, imported it in 2004 to Canada and has been here with the one guy since. (paperwork to prove it) Hasnt been in one accident, all stock, and only 107,403 miles. I paid $24,495 less my trade in after taxes and trade truck set me back $22,400. Out the door.

Keep your eyes peeled there are lots of them out there and DONT Ever Act like you want to buy it more than they want to sell it!! The one I bought here normally sells for $31,000 CDN .

Any who my two cents dont buy her run specially if the two accidents are there run!!! thats a 5k truck all day long!!
Do you know anyone else in Canada looking for an Ex in the mid 20's let me know. 05 Eddie Bauer 4X4 6.0 105,000 miles

dude how many times are you gonna say that? thats 4 times now. im not spening 20k+ on an excursion. cant afford that right now. and i wont buy one that i cant physically look at and drive in person first, so if its not in Florida, not worth looking at it.

This one was listed for $5900 on Friday east of town. I wanted to go buy it and flip it if it was good. This guy beat me to it. He is asking a little much but if he got it for $5900 he wont lose any money.

ok, so today out of no where i decided to try and re-apply for the loan that got declined back in novemeber. they approved me! i've got 9k (dont have to use it all, ill give back what i dont use, or use it on a lift/tires).

if you guys find anything in florida worth looking at, post it up! i'd like to buy from an owner to avoid all those gay fee's, etc.

deff want 4x4, 2000-2001 is fine, v10 or 7.3, probably v10 unless i can find a 7.3 for the money that im working with.

interior-only want tan leather, no cloth, no gray.

i live in Tampa FL, so you can use that as a reference point if you guys find anything
