First time posting on here, although I have been coming here for info on my two SD's for a while.
I am just about to pull the trigger on a new set of tires for my 2007 F250 FX4. I am sticking with the OEM 18" rims and want to get the TOYO ATs 285/75/18. I have done some research and cant find out if any has problems with this size on a stock suspension. I don't want problems, but want something bigger than the stock 275/70.
Tire shop is nervous about putting them on, but will do it. Any and all advice is appreciated. THANKS
This question has been asked before a few times and it seems they will still fit.
I put 285x75r16's on my last truck - stock wheels. Original tires were 265x70r16's. The tire shop told me that the wheels were a bit too narrow for the tires. I didn't have any trouble with them. Bridgestone Dueller Revo's, loved them.
By the way, 07 was a fantastic year for the SD's. Is that a 6.0 by any chance?
Thanks for the reply. No it has the trusty 5.4. Got a great deal on her. Our Const Co has a 2003 F350 7.3 Daully if I need anything REALLY heavy moved...haha.
