Need 33-18's- mudflap problem
I am about to need new tires for my truck and I want some fairly aggressive but street friendly 33's for my 18" Helo Black Maxx's. I currently have the stock tires (275/65 BFG Rugged Trails) on them b/c I didn't want to throw away perfectly good tires. However, with the stock tires, I had to trim about a 1/2 inch off of my Husky mudflaps. I want to keep the mudflaps but I want some bigger tires that won't rub. Any suggestions?

Your right the 275/65's are 32X10.8 hardly a bug jump to go to a 33" tall tire width may be an issue.
If are rubbing the stock 275's I would think there is more going on or the mud flaps are not designed right. The trucks come stock with 275's this is not an upsized tire over an OEM available size.

My problem is the added width from my 18x9 Helos. This widened the tire and caused rubbing on the mudflap. I'm wondering if there is a 33 that isn't much wider than the OEM tire so that I can go up but keep my mudflaps.
