Hello,
Got in my truck, tried to turn it over, got a buzzing. Figured out the buzzing was coming from the solenoid on the passenger side. Got rid of the old one, replaced with a new one. Solenoid is still buzzing and the truck won't start! Are there any other causes for a buzzing solenoid other than it just being bad?? Any and all advice is appreciated! Thanks
Classic symptom of either a dead battery or as bigdaddys76 said a bad cable connection.
Check your battery and clean and tighten all the cable connections.
OK, cleaned the connection for solenoid and the battery. the battery tested at 12.6 so, I am thinking the problem is with the starter. Thank for the info evrybody.
