On my 77 F100 300ci. changing oil can be very messy, due to the fact that the drain plug is located right above the crossmember. I took some scrape sheet metal and formed it to channel the oil in to the drain bucket. Do you guy's have a better solution?

My solution on my 78 F250 2wd 400 was to move the drain plug to the front corner. Now I can reach everything from in front of the crossmember. Everything drains without dribbling on something.
