Blower cuts out under acceleration.

Your title says "blower cuts out under acceleration". If this is true, are you sure the blower is cutting off, or is it just being re-directed to the defrost vents? Check this out, because if it is being directed to the defrost vents under hard acceleration, there is a solution to that problem.

Well, there's a solution either way.
If the motor itself cuts out, the brushes are usually worn out and it's time for a new blower motor.
If the airflow is diverted to the defroster vents, see the FAQs in the HVAC section for the diagnosis.
