Installing Side mirrors

Does anybody have any suggesstion on how to install a single position stainless steel side mirror, I'm replacing the previous black plastic looking mirrors with an older metal frame stainless steel looking mirror. the new mirrors i have, have two mounting points, the plastic looking mirrors are just single mount. I'm just looking for suggestions. I'll post pics later.

Thread serts are what you need. They are similar to rivets but threaded inside. Make sure to measure a truck that has the metal mirrors b/c the plastic ones dont mount int he same holes at all.

You can use regular bolts with washers and nuts on the inside of the door, I helped my ex install big towing mirrors on the dually and that is what we did. The door panels need to be removed for this.
