Mirrors
The PO put some cheap towing mirrors on my truck that shake at highway speeds to where they are useless. Im looking for some good low mount western mirrors (6"x9"). I want ones with a stainless steel head not plastic. LMC has some (PN 49-6610) that are $50 each.
Where else can I get some?
Anyone know the ford part number?

i found my set in a junkyard on an old ambulance. i offered the yard master $35 and he agreed if i did the work!
i had to modify them ever so slightly but i am very pleased with them! high quality brushed stanless steel. i love them

I am a little confused when you say low mount and western. The ones on my F superduty are what I call western but not what i call low mount. These are Ford factory mirrors on mmine and I had to by a head and "L" shaped bracket after I cratered one, they are QUITE pricey from Ford but the only source i know of that fits the factory holes in the doors. Like some others said, next time I will go junk yard scrounging when I need mirror parts,
