Sweet looking motor. the set up in the engine bay looks clean and crisp...
Do you have an IFS? if so do you have fotos of how you set up your engine mounts? and did you have any issues with pinion angles to the rear. Was that hard to set up?
I have a 302 HO in my garage that I will be placing on an IFS so I am just inquiring every possible.
Thanks
Yes i have a mustang 2 ifs.Had no angle troubles. What i did was set motor over the frame on a holt then we put the cab in place to make sure it cleared the firewall. We then welded the mounts .You will need a rear sump oil pan with the IFS.No way around that.I also had to use a 1/2 inch flatbar on top of the stock motor mounts to get it more clearance for the ifs . TCI has the IFS set up just for these old trucks. good luck and if you need more help just ask.
I am guessing a holt is something u used to just set the motor on in order to mock up the cab?
I am going to start trolling the Internet for a rear sump oil pan.
How did you know know how high to put the motor? Or is it a size/height thing determines that u place it as low as you can with adequate clearance and u end up good.
I have been saving for a No Limit combo package for 7 months now and just hit my goal. It will be the IFS, Four link, tranny crossmember, boxin plates and engine mounts, power rack and a full brake kit. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
