What part of northwestern Ontario are you in as I'm in those parts too and I'm still miles from nowhere, lol
That picture reminds me of Howey St in Red Lake in front of the body shop
Guess they named it that cause its so cold you ears will fall off. LOL
What do ya mean, it's only supposed to get down to -30* tonight and be a sweltering -20* tomorrow, bet it makes you wish you were here. You'd save some on your AC bills, lol

And I avoided procrastinated out to the garage today as it only got up into the high forties.
Dang Fred Its almost scary how our builds are so much alike. I just saw this thread tonight and that you were the poster so I wanted to see if you painted your 289 yellow also. The first thing I see is an air breather just like I picked up from a friend of mine yesterday! LOL Glad to see the info about it could melt into a blob down the carb. Never thought of that. I have something else in mind too, just have to see if it will work. Nice looking work you have done so far. Have really enjoyed following it........
Sweet looking motor. the set up in the engine bay looks clean and crisp...
Do you have an IFS? if so do you have fotos of how you set up your engine mounts? and did you have any issues with pinion angles to the rear. Was that hard to set up?
I have a 302 HO in my garage that I will be placing on an IFS so I am just inquiring every possible.
