I dont know about you guys but WallyWorld here sell the Motocraft filters for 6.0 for about 18bucks. I never really price searched others because of what I read here when I got my truck but I figure its a pretty competitive price for a Motocraft and way cheaper than the dealer.

Imho my pics for...
oil filters are AFE, ford, racor ( If you have to buy them locally get the motorcraft If you look at the filters racor and motorcraft they have some differences) I like the afe because I never had them degrade like the others (especially fram)
Fuel filters I would use the motorcraft or racor they are much less likely to degrade like the cheaper ones

Remember this is my personal opinion, you can buy the motorcrafts in bulk online if you want to save a bit... I believe ed (partsguyed) can get you a good deal on oil filters and Clay (riffraffdiesel) can get you a good deal on the fuel filters

I swear every time this topic comes up, which is quite often, it is different every time. Fram = Racor and vise versa. Now they are junk? To tell you the truth I have ran fram for 40K without a problem. I compaired them to the ford filters and they have the exact same part number stamped on them, the filter element and felt seal are the same color the hight is the same. So what gives, everyone I know here (Kansas) runs fram and none of us have had any filter issues. Now when it comes to the fuel filters I do get the ford filters.
