E99 psd, mods are stage one injectors and ts chip. I had the typical bad injectors= 40 mph shudder, which went away after I installed new stage ones. I got the injectors from full force and installed them in the middle of aug. along with new gp's and a new driver side uvch (thanks to my friend that was helping me destroying the one that was on there before). About a week after I installed them I took a trip to north carolina (about 700 miles one way) everything was going great until I got down there and noticed that it was lacking the power that it had at the beginning of the trip, my girlfriend who drove some of the trip even noticed the difference when she was driving. When I did the injectors I did an oil change with royal purple, and I was using howes fuel addiditvie.
As time has went on I have devolped a studder or hesitation when I am crusing (in town or the highway) and I let off the gas pedal and then a little more when I go to push on it again.
I am not sure if the issues are related or not. And I am sure I am forgetting some details. If there is anymore feel free to ask though. One last thing, it is also putting out a lot of white or blue smoke when I start it up, I know its unburned fuel and you can deffinately tell because of the smell and how it burns your eyes even after only a few seconds. Just didn't know if that had any part in the issue.
I was actually just thinking that while I was typing that. Haha. I do have it done... but only on the passenger side. since the driver side was brand new I couldn't get the quarter in there and I figured if it was that tight it probably didn't need it anyways, I'm sure I could have forced it but didn't want to break the clip, especially after just spending $90 on it because of my buddy being dumb and careless.
I guess anything is possible. unplug the harness and ohm the pin and see if possibly a injector came unpluged. Beats having to pull the valve covers for nothing.
So I finally got a chance to tear into it yesterday, and the plug was fine. i only check the driver side because I assumed that's where the issue was. and i couldn't find anything.
I did take my truck to a transmission guy thinking it might just be the torque converter. he drove it while hooked up to his solus pro and said everything felt great and there was no trans issues. while he had it hooked up i had him pull any codes and the ones that it showed were:
P1670
P1316
P0478
P0470
since he is just a transmission guy he had no clue what any of them meant. so hopefully someone on here can shed a little light. one other thing... there was a little bit of oil in my IC tubes and the air inlet for the turbo. I'm assuming that's bad too.
