so i was wondering if someone could take some pictures of the wire i have to ground to get codes or what ever
both lights are on....i want them off
ive bled the entire system with clean fluid a while back when i change the driverside caliper and brake hose...
i also checked the sensor in the rear end and cleaned it up :P no to dirty to have 131,000 miles on her
The first picture is what it looks like on my 1990 F150 5.0 EFI. The second pic shows where it's located. You find it in this thin black box behind the air filter. It will be plugged into the bottom, you pull it out, connect it to your scanner and begin the procedure.
The RABS 1 test connector is forward of the E brake pedal, two matting halves one with a black/orange wire connected to it, that is the wire you want to ground for 1 to 2 seconds after unplugging the connectors from each other.
RABS 1 does not store codes after key is turned off, must trigger test while light is on before turning off key.
Doesn't look like you'd need to remove the cowl panel to see it.
