I don't see you guys posting your trucks. Whats wrong ? You don't even have anything that will even stack up against a purple '79 with a built Dana 60 front, 70-U rear with 2 Powr-Locs & a built 466 ? I can go on & on with all my mods, can you ?
boggin, how many inches of lift do you have on that truck? What is the tire size now and are you going to change tire sizes going to a 16x10 wheel? I"m trying to visualize what tire / wheel sizes will look proportionate on my '78 4x4 crew with a 4" suspension lift.
Just got a responce from MT headquarters - Classics and Classic beadlocks are cast, just as stated earlier I even checked Ultra wheel (the very same design) and they are cast as well. Anybody have the MT Classic Beadlocks on their trucks or are they too expensive to run?
410 ya i know they are not a functional beadlock but they still look cool! Wish i could see them on a dent, maybe i'll just have to put them on mine i guess and hope i like them if I don't see a pic pretty soon.
For non functional bead locks they sure look a heck of alot better then any of the other fake bead locks ive ever seen. To have fake ones is one thing, to have fake ones that dont even look real is just tacky.

its a 6" skyjacker lift with 37" tires. the tires are brand new i just want a wider wheel.
I guess I will have to retract my earlier statement about MTs being forged. They used to be, but I guess they went cheap on the new ones.
I had the pleasure of changing a flat on my buddies Heep at a race this weekend and to my surprise the things were cast. These don't look like a Classic II to me - and they are definitely not a lock.
Just 1 more reason I'll stick to the factory alcoas!
Oh - and here is why I like to run the Kevlar sidewall Race tires when in the desert.
