i'm, new to this forum,so please be kind.all so i'm new to fords i do have a ford classic car rebuilt it and i do my own work.it's my first ford in 40 years.
here we go,i have a 1990 f-150 2 wheel drive auto. 5.0 EFI long bed with duel tanks,one is leaking can i disconnect the back tank and still use the truck.the truck has been setting for 6-9 months.just want to get running for now.so i can drive and start on restoring it.thanks for any HELP.

 

No you would need to plug both fuel lines going to it.

 

thank you o k just plug the lines.what about the wiring can i disconnect it was well to remove the tank????

 

Yes just disconnect it and tape the ends.
