PLEASE HELP!!

hello,
i bought my first ford in january, its a f150 4x4 with a 302. back in march i slipped off the road and ran into a muddy field i engaged the 4x4 and got out of the rut. well the next day i went to tractor supply n when i put it reverse it sound like it was in nuetral i had to put the truck in forward then in reverse and it was working fine. well i just the transmission fluid and the filter, flushed it, the works basically. well after i changed the fluid i had trouble going in drive after that....so now when i hit 45 my truck jumps into gear n sounds like the gears in my front differential are smacking together. i wanna sale it but i love my truck and its been nothing but good to me! i would hate to get rid of it but i really dont know whats wrong and what i should do?? any ideas? ive been told its a vacuum hose or a sensor but idk? any help would be GREATLY appreciated! thank you!

The transmission problems sound like the MLPS. If water got into it, it will behave like your describe.

That happens sometimes in my truck (2wd). I think I have it in reverse and let off the brake and its actually in neutral. Mine is caused by my shifter being loose. Probably not the problem with yours but figured it might help.
