Help Please 2006 E250 Vacuum Cannister Missing
Hi Folks
Jim here.
I bought a Ford E250 last year and have had a problem since then.
The the a/c and heat jump from the vents to the defrost when going up a hill or pulling my trailer. Sitting in the driveway everything works as it is supposed to. It seems to happen when I get over about 2000 rpms.
I had it to our local mechanic and he couldn't find the problem. Ford sells a vacuum canister but neither he nor I could find it. I am told by Ford that it is on the passenger side under the battery. I spent an hour looking around for this thing to no avail. Is it possible there never was one? And if that is the case where might my leak be? I think the mechanic sprayed starter fluid on the lines he could find to search for a leak but that found nothing.
