Do You Need To Replace DRW Valvestems
I just ordered new tires for my 2011 DRW. Question, do you guys replace the metal valve stems also? Never had a leak, just wondering if replacing the metal stems is as necessary as replacing the all rubber ones. The tire dealer said he would have to order them from Ford. Anyhow, give me your ideas...........

The only time I have ever had to replace a metal valve stem was when it got damaged. They are generally rebuildable if you have leakage past a seal due to rust etc..
The cores are generally standard schrader valves and cost about .$50 for good ones..

Nope. They're fine as long as they don't leak and function properly. The rubber stems get replaced because they're prone to dry rot and such. The metal stems on my trailer with load range G tires (110psi) are 20+ yrs old.
Just be sure the washers and sealing surfaces are in good shape.
