we definitely have our winter fuel up here, was -30*C all week and no problems at all.

It was close to zero here in colorado and no problem here. I use Tri chem 4020 everyother fill up and have had great results. Im thinking your fuel supplier doesnt have very good fuel.
I stopped using powerservice in my big truck because repeat use was eating up the o rings in the injectors. Tri chem 4020 is the best additive I have ever used, there is a noticable difference in performance and mileage.

I've used Powerstroke too. 80,000 miles on '05 F350. 17F is coldest so far this fall, this week. Moved from MA to WI few months ago and started using the engine block heater.

Sorry, correction, using PowerService fuel additive, typo on saying Powerstroke.
