And happy turkey day to you to. Thats a lot of post, congrats to you. I have been taking my motor apart today. Going to try to do oil cooler and maybe egr cooler. Any suggestions
yup saty warm. its cold even here in tx to day.
the job is pretty stright foward. should take you about a full day to do if you have not had a 6.0 apart yet.
dont forget to reinstall the map hose, if you have an exhaust leaks odds are the turbo and y-pipe are not seated correctly.
I second the above! I can't even begin to think how much money you and a few of the other guys have saved me here. I've gone from asking stupid questions and reading here 3 hours a night to actually working on my 6.0, and even enjoying it. I even answer the occasional question if it's not too hard! I have always hated anyone else working on my stuff, so I've always done my own work, and if it wasn't for this site, I would be going to the dealership and paying $105/hr out of fear and ignorance of the 6.0.
5000 posts is a lot of information dispensed...have a great Thanksgiving Cheezit, and everybody else from south of the 49th! (And Alaska)

Cold!?!?! In Texas?? Man, you're getting soft on us. I have a place up north of here. It was 9 degrees last nite there.....6-8in of snow too
Yeah, soft... We were the 2nd coldest place on earth a couple of days ago. It was only -25F here, but a 100 miles away, they were -32F with a wind chill of -42. We're out of it now and back to normal (+30) but it can return at a moments notice. Winter hit so hard and it snowed so much that the ground isn't frozen under the snow!
Ok, enough thread hijacking, back to Cheezit and his 5000 posts.
