2005 headlight difference
posted this in electral also......Doing a 2005 headlight upgrade to my 2000 F 550 fontaine. The ford house says there are 2 different 2005 headlights. One for early production and one for the later ones. The picture they pull up on their computer looks the same for both part numbers. Does anyone know the difference?

Speed - I am about to upgrade my headlights as well and found 2005 unit on the web in black or chrome. Maybe that's the difference at the dealer. Here's a link to the site where I found the lights. 1999-2007 Super Duty: CCG Truck

The black is for the Harley pickups.I don't think that's the difference. this site has them for about $30.00 less.
