One of our fellow FTE members is wanting me to do some die cut vinyl for under the hood of his truck, but the hood insulators are a little too "wicked" to put vinyl on there.
Anybody have any idea of a local mid. tn shop that would be able to make a custom hood liner for a 2003-2007 Superduty? Or if there is a bulk producing company out there that has the liners that would work? Not the dynomat hood liners mind you, more like the liners that are on the current 150s from the factory.
Try an upholstery shop. I don't see why a place that makes seat covers couldn't make a hood liner. OR go to a fabric shop - some ladies, I've seen, can make curtains to order, and could probably make a simple hood liner with a HD sewing machine ( want racing stripes ?) OR a cobbler shop has the equipment. << just a few "left-field" ideas....
NEED MORE ??????????
tex - NO problem - I "tinker" a lot. I can look at an alternator-to-engine bracket and see half a gate hinge. < it works for me ] OR think outside the box. LOL.

I'm somewhat the same way except it's with graphics programs. Instead of seeing the end picture, I'm starting to see the all the circles, rectangles, and lines that make up that end result. Sometimes it makes my head hurt depending on how detailed that graphic is.

You to? I work at a salvage yard part-time and I am thinking of possibilities. There is a alternator to engine bracket used on the 3100 engine in many midsize GMs that has just the right bends that seems to have endless possibilites. Sorry didnt mean to jack post or veer off course
