2010 F350 code p1335
P1335: EGR position sensor minimum/maximum stop performance - This code means that the EGR valve position voltage is greater than the allowable limit when closed and is not being commanded by the PCM. I have two different specifications for this: 1.3V>2.5 seconds and 1.5V>2.5 seconds but the indication is still the same. The possibilities include a stuck EGR valve, debris preventing the valve from fully closing, wiring concerns affecting the signal voltage or control circuits and the PCM.
-19000 miles and it was just in for service last week (oil change, fuel filters, tire rotation)
-no CEL or any indication that there was any problem other than a couple of extra regens over the last week.
-truck has the six gun tuner, iQ, Ram Air intake, and Monster Exhaust.installed.
-dieselkleen cetane boost is added usually every other tank
what does it mean and should i bother taking it in again with no other symptoms?
I occasionally (once in a blue moon) get p2002 because of the intake, but I have never seen any other codes on this truck until today.
should I clear the code and wait for a re-occurence? or is it serious enough that it cant wait and let the dealer see the code first?
