fuel additive

i was wondering, i,ve read somewhere that you can put 2 cycle motor oil in your diesel fuel for lube. is there a best kind and how much should you put. its 90 7.3 nonturbo

I personaly would not ever do that ,i use lucas diesel fule treatment they sell it at walmart it and works fine for me .

went to walmart, got a bottle of diesel kleen, says its got lube in it. is this good stuff. also my truck runs fine but been reading about low sulfer fuel

I use Diesel Kleen religiously, with the temp drop I've switched to the white bottle. Fires up with less fight/hesitation now that I'm running it in my tanks vs the grey one. Grey one was great for spring/summer/fall. Same price for white is good for the wallet.

sorry, also our diesel pumps here in sc say recomended for pre 2007 vehicles, but should be used in all diesel motors. any body know why it says that. thanks for the info... i love this site
