I'm not familiar with the '90 model. Can you take a picture and post it up?

the block is your engine harness. the 2 wires melted go to your glow plug controller. if it fires your alright. if not, you can clip the wires on each end of the plug and put a heavy gauge butt connector. OR you can run a single heavier gauge wire to the controller

Like Oreo said, it's the engine to body plug for the glowplugs. Here's a pic for all the folks wondering what we're talking about. This is on my 87.

One problems guys, this is on the right fender, he said he found the messed-up plug on the left fender... Lotsa connectors there, especially with the E4OD - what color and shape is the damaged connector, and where exactly on the fender is it located?

In his other post (general diesel) he said left fender standing in front of the truck. He failed to mention that here.

I knew which connector he ment (I think) but could not remember the wire colors for the heavy one that gets hot a melts crap.

Understand your cautious approach. I read between the lines and figured he didn't know his difference between hs right and left.

FYI: If your working on a vehicle, location is based on if your sitting in the driver's seat. In America passenger side is RIGHT, driver side is LEFT.
