Block heater recommendations

I want to put in a block heater to heat the anti freeze in my truck for the really cold days here. What are the best kinds/brands and is installation easy? I know there are several kinds, I'm just wondering what will be the most effective and easiest to install.

'98, 5.4, 4x4

Thanks in advance...

I put a glue on heater on the oil pan of a service truck I had, in three years it never showed the first sign of coming off. The block heaters, I had all leaked in that time, this was thirty years ago. They may have better materials now. Also I had an in-line heater hose, antifreeze heater. That kept the windshield clear, only got three years out of it, before it leaked.
