I have a 2007 250 superduty reg.cab and I am puzzling around the thought of putting on some cab lights.I would like to know which ones are the nicesed ones and the easiest ones to put on my truck?I would like a complete kit.My truck has no cab lights and it looks naked without them. Then it will probably be some tow mirrors.
I put the tow mirrors, and the cab clearance lights on my truck. Go with OEM on everything, especially the cab clearance lights. You will be glad you did. Good luck.
i just added cab lights and tow mirrors. the cab lights i bought from ford. i used this link to install them. Motoman's Madness the tow mirrors i put on are oem...used because my buddy upgraded to 08's. good luck.
You would have to buy the harness from ford, however there is a truck modifier selling sets of 5 new take off oem ford lights I could recommend you to. I just bought 2 sets at $20 plus shipping a set and believe me they are new and perfect.
ebay has the oem kits and harness at a good price ,, if you want smoked lenses Recon sells them for the oem light ,, but do yourself a favor and don't get the Recon light kits
Thanks guys I will take all this into consideration.I will stay away from Recon.I am still looking for a complete kit and I am trying not to get bent over by the dealership.
Try partsguyed (Parts Guy Ed). He's a Ford parts dealer and is a member on here. Ordered mine from him, and they are on their way right now. I bought 5 lights and the harness. Probably paid more for them than I could have from eBay or somewhere else. But that is fine, I wanted to be 100% certain that mine were going to be OEM Ford. I'm not bashing anyone else's stuff and saying that they are not OEM Ford. I'm just saying I wanted to be certain mine would be.
I'm curious, what's wrong with the recon light kit? I was under the impressoin their stuff was ok.
the harness is crud it has two types of connectors not made to go together ( so when your all done and a week later they start unplugging themselves )and the mounting hardware is incomplete and directs you to go get more parts were they could have spent 1 buck and included the inserts or metal tapping screws ,, also the black out models were cheaply painted black over chrome plating and peels
and yes I did let them know
I would just go OEM for these if I had to do it again
I hve since siliconed and taped all the mismatched connectors and have only had the paint peeling issue

Well that seals it for me no Recon cab lights.Thank you for explaining.
I got the recon for my truck the smoked ones but of course I didnt install them. I had a local shop that does it for almost all trucks in my area. They seemed to get it done with no issues, or none that I heard of, but I guess if you are doing it yourself, then might go with the norm.
