I have a problem with the fuel pump continuing to run after the key is turned off. It does this occassionaly but not all the time. There are no leaks in the fuel system. Is there a switch that tells the fuel pump to run or is this some type of failure in the pump. The only way to stop it from running is to disconnect the battery, Would it be acceptable to install a toggle switch to use to cut the power to the pump.
Just bought one and put it on, I have my fingers crossed , everything is OK right this minute. The picture is not the same as my truck but it put me on the right track, I did find it. Thanks a lot.
