Overdrive buton not working

My OD button on the shifter has stopped working and I don't even know where to begin on troubleshooting that. Any help you guys can offer, I'd really appreciate. Thanks!

Very common issue try search for "broken shifter wires" "OD button not working" its an easy fix the wires in the column rub and break.

What causes the wires inside the column to rub and break? just using the truck-driving it-moving the tilt-wheel-moving the shifter????

I put together a little article to help show the problems with the wire getting chafed. Usually it will blow a fuse and cause loss of the dash and throttle pedal.

Hope it helps. You may also find that the button has gone haywire and needs replaced, but the wires getting damaged is usually the case.
